You have been working for years on your craft, spending hours in the practice room, and you’re even getting gigs…but they aren’t the kind of gigs that fill you up. You’ve hit some kind of invisible ceiling, and no matter what you do, it feels like you won’t achieve the kind of success you dreamed about when you were in music school.

I’ve been there.

I’ve run myself ragged zooming from low-paying gig to even-lower-paying gig, thinking I was “paying my dues,” and that one day someone would notice me and give me a break. But as the years went on, I realized just keeping my head down and playing it safe wasn’t bringing me any joy.

It wasn’t until I recognized myself by producing my own solo album that my career started taking off.

I could tell you that it was the album that made the difference…but that wouldn’t be the truth.

The truth is, the game-changer was my self-recognition.

I can teach you how to release your own album. I can teach you how to make yourself more visible to your fans or the people you want to work with.

I can help you with the inner work. I can give you tools that will help you tap into your self-compassion and self-empowerment.

One-on-One Coaching

I believe that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to coaching. Some clients need operational hand-holding as they encounter a steep learning curve; others need accountability and honest feedback as they work through some deep healing. Each session is fluid and is highly tailored to whatever that client is struggling with.

Whatever the challenge, my goal is to guide you towards your inner knowing throughout your journey.

The Next Level Musician coaching package

My main coaching package consists of 25 sessions, which usually takes about 6 months (I suggest weekly sessions, although some people opt to meet every other week).

Each session lasts for 60 minutes and takes place over Zoom. I can record any session upon request.

Between sessions, clients also receive unlimited support from me via email and Voxer.

The fee for this package is $3,000.

FAQs

What are your qualifications?

I am certified in NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), and my coaching style also integrates Sydney Banks’ Three Principles, Nancy Kline’s Thinking Environment, and Brooke Castillo’s The Model.

I have over two decades of administrative experience in both for-profit and non-profit industries, from HSBC Bank to the GRAMMY Award-winning choir The Crossing. Plus, I have been a part of the music industry my entire life (it’s true! My parents were musicians, so I grew up in the industry).

Is coaching the same as therapy?

While coaching and therapy modalities sometimes overlap, I like to think of them as close cousins.

While therapy helps you delve into the past so you can heal former trauma and wounds, coaching is rooted in the present and focused on the future.

I am not a licensed psychotherapist. If you know you need therapy but are worried about not being able to afford one, Open Path Psychotherapy Collective has a community of therapists who offer pro bono or sliding scale sessions.

I have worked with clients who also see therapists, and having both dimensions of support can be mutually beneficial.

Do you have any shorter packages than 6 months?

In the past few years, I have experimented with different length packages, including one-off sessions.

Over that time, I have discovered that the most beneficial way to effect lasting change is to make a long-term commitment with regular check-ins. That’s why I suggest starting off with a six-month package with weekly sessions.

If, for whatever reason, a six-month commitment is not feasible right now but you would still like to work with me, I am happy to negotiate a package that is a good fit for both of us.

Do you have payment plans?

Yes, I do have payment plans. However, my payment processor takes a fee every time a payment is processed, so the only way I can afford to provide a payment plan is to raise the price for each payment.

It breaks down like this:

1 payment of $3,000

2 payments of $1,510 each (once when we start working, once at the 3-month mark) = $3,020

3 payments of $1,015 each (once when we start, once at the 2 month mark, and then once at the 4 month mark) = $3,045

6 payments of $520 each (paid monthly) = $3,120

Do you offer any discounts or scholarships?

From time to time, I do offer discounts for my services to former clients or people who have taken my courses. The best way to take advantage of these discounts is to sign up for my free newsletter.

At this point in my business development, I am not able to offer scholarships, but let’s talk. If you are serious about working with me, I’m sure we can find a mutually-beneficial arrangement.
